Their story

The wedding of Rita Veygman and Roman Shukhman commenced at the legendary Pierre Hotel just after sun down. Designed and produced by Christy Bareijsza of The Red Carpet Events, the elegant “French Renaissance” and “Classic New York” theme brought both excitement and beauty to the evening. Greeted by period actors reminiscent of Marie Antoinette, guests were invited into the ivory washed room with the chuppah as the center focal point dripping in orchids, roses and hydrangeas, complimented by crystals and layers of silk taffeta. Each column was highlighted by the perfect touch of lighting and illuminated as the bride walked down the aisle in Vera Wang. Upon completion of the tearful but joyous ceremony, guests were guided into the Grand Ballroom for a burst of color and opulence with breathtaking crystal chandeliers decorated with peach garden roses, hydrangeas, ivory phalaenopsis orchids and Swarovski crystals. Surrounded by deep orange satellite arrangements and pillar candles, the floral color was reflected off chocolate brown linens and pin spotted from above. Using their monogram as a theme, the elegant design was intertwined throughout the wedding from the lighting to the menu cards to the cocktail napkins. Dancing the night away with a ten-piece band, the 225 guests experienced the true energy and glamour New York City has to offer. A glorious evening with sophisticated style, each detail was not spared, providing precious and everlasting memories created with style.
