We’ve had the total joy (and luck!) of having some late in the season weddings this year! This past weekend Alessandra and Colin were married at the Conrad Hotel in lower Manhattan. This is only the second wedding to happen here so I feel like we are part of a secret club now!

The inside of the hotel is stunning, which was good because it was really to cold outside! Alessandra and Colin’s wedding followed all of the very traditional Jewish wedding customs with a stylish, modern twist. Their chuppah was set up in the middle of the ceremony room, so it was somewhat like a concert in the round. The reception began with the hora, lots and lots and lots of dancing! I’m pretty sure Alessandra did not want to sit down to eat after dancing her heart out! xoxo Karen

What’s more classic New York City than a wedding at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel? Mary and Ed were married this past weekend in full upper East Side New York style. While Mary got ready at the Waldorf Astoria (in a suite Hilary Clinton stays in no less), Ed was getting ready at their Park Avenue apartment along with their young son Charlie. The ceremony took place at the Church of St. Ignatius, a beautiful, ornate Catholic church. The reception and party was held on the Starlight Roof at the Waldorf. The Starlight Roof was the first supper club to have a retractable roof so needless to say countless celebrities and high society New Yorkers have danced the night away here. This wedding was no different with lots of dancing and little Charlie wandering onto the dance floor too!
